Friday the 13th!
what a day! i woke up to thunder at 6 am and feared the meet might get cancelled. but i got to school and we stood in the rain waiting for the bus. then we finally got on the bus and it started hailing.
and it rained and we headed northward. then it was time to eat. we tried to find a subway but ended up at moe’s subs and they were pretty good.
then we waited for over 20 minutes for the bus driver, who went shopping at mervyns. finally we were on the road again and then we were parked. there was an accident and we took 45 minutes to move 6 miles.
we got to woodward park 30 minutes before the girls race and found out we were not registered but they took care of us anyways.
so let the racing begin!
