well today the team tried out yokuts park. i measured out a one mile course and the team did some one mile repeats.
the top guys did five repeats and the rest did three.
our girls looked real good btw.
this summer the team will be meeting at 7 pm at beach park to run most weekday nights. every other tuesday we will be running the handicap series.

Skateboarding goes for the gold
The sport is expected to be fast-tracked into the Olympics by 2012, but if snowboarding is an example, things might not go smoothly at the start.

Olympic snowboarding face-planted nine years ago in Nagano, Japan, captivated audiences four years later during a U.S. medals sweep at Salt Lake City, and last year became one of the Winter Games’ most prominent sports in Turin, Italy.

Foothill High takes hit
College group grants shortened accreditation

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges recently accredited Foothill High for only the next three years instead of the normal six.

I knew if I could make it a 1:44 race, they would have to PR to beat me. I really believe in you reap what you sow and I’ve sown a lot of hard work. The main thing is really to get my injury 100 percent (in preparation for World Championships).

Hasay assaults record book on Day 4 of Finish Line USA Junior Champs
INDIANAPOLIS – Jordan Hasay surprised no one in winning the women’s 1,500m Friday at the 2007 Finish Line USA Junior Track & Field Championships at the IU Michael A. Carroll Track & Soccer Stadium on the campus of IUPUI in downtown Indianapolis.
