To prepare for his senior cross-country season at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Mikias Gelagle decided his summer needed to be high in mileage — and low on everything else.

the anderson’s will be running at the panorama bluffs sunday night. we will start at parking lot nearest garces.

the full killa hilla is the hardest 4 mile course in town. ariey, david and christopher have gone sub 35 minutes on it.
still waiting for some one to do sub 8 minute mile pace over the entire course. so join us, if you dare.

tonight was a good night for a race. there was a good crowd and everyone loved the glow sticks. the start was a little after 9 pm and the moon was full.
i walked the race in under 40 minutes and got to see the race unfold. twelve minutes into the race the 5kers were already coming back. i dont know who was first but csub’s ryan lucker was in second when he blew by me.
csub had a quite a few runners entered besides ryan. erica silva ran the 10 km and lina nunez was the second women overall in the 10Km. south high also had a large group of runners at the race.
the first woman was under 40 minutes, as was bruce deeter, i believe.
my son, christopher, ran around 44 minutes and came in 4th in the very tough 15 to 19 age group. michael mccarthy missed the 5k turn around and finished behind christopher. nicholas and kyle ran the 5k.
i will post complete results, when i find them. see you at tuesday’s btc handicap race!
