McDonald’s Rough Rider Invitational – 10/12/07
The McDonald’s Rough Rider Invitational will be held Friday, October 12, 2007 in Fresno, CA. The meet will be held at historic Woodward Park, home of the California Interscholastic Federation State Cross Country Championships. This is a 5000 meter (5K) certified course.
just got home but wanted to write a quick report. our varsity boys and girls ran well. sara baker medaled (top 25) in the girl’s large schools varsity race in a time of 19:49 (PR) and christopher anderson (my son) medaled (top 25) in the frosh/soph large schools race.

Scoring Criteria:
Sweepstakes trophies will be based upon combined team places of boys and girls teams. If there is a tie, it will be broken by team scores.
Entry Fee: $4.00 per individual, $160.00 per team.
Awards:
1. Sweepstakes trophies will be awarded for the best overall teams in the F/S (both large and small) division and the same in the varsity races.
2. Medals will be awarded to the top 25 finishers (except F/S girls, top 40).
3. A special award will be presented to the winner in each varsity race.
4. The meet begins at 1:30 with F/S girls small schools and ends at 5:30 with varsity boys large schools.
