Located 320 miles north of Los Angeles amid the towering snow-capped mountains of the picturesque Mammoth Lakes region. The camp is open during the summer months for family camper, trailer, cabin and tent camping. Facilities include tables and stoves at each camp site, hot showers, sanitary facilities, play areas for children, and recreation lodge.
In addition to the facilities at Camp High Sierra, there are many scenic wonders to visit and photograph in the area. There are opportunities in the surrounding Mammoth area to hike, swim, fish, horseback ride, bicycle, and take overnight pack trips.

7:00am to 8:10am Practice at Beach Park

3:30pm Arrive at Camp High Sierra
4:00-500pm Unload vans and setup camp (snack, nap)

well many of you missed this morning’s fun! the boys did 3 times 2 mile at yokuts park. david, ariey, mccarthy, arturo and my sons gutted it out.
we had some fast company too, andrew mockett (no shirt) and Fernando Mendoza (black tank top) joined us this morning. it was a good workout. if you want to join us, please do.
here is the rest of the week:
tuesday at 7 pm – 2 mile repeats?
wednesday at 7 pm – 45 Min Easy Recovery
thursday at 7 am – 30 Min Extensive Tempo AM
thursday at 7 pm – 30 Min Easy PM
friday – OFF!
saturday – Long Run 1: 35 (time tba) or do the Howl at the Moon race!

the ariey’s and the anderson’s will be running at the panorama bluffs tonite. we will meet at parking lot nearest garces.

DMPW means driller miles per week.
i know i sound like a broken record but mileage is the key to success. sure some run fast without it but high mileage will make you faster.
between xc and track, christopher ran about 40 mpw and took almost 8 minutes off his 10k time (51 to 43). he didnt run fast but he did run long.
i made an excel file tracking our weekly milage this summer:

it is way to hot! stay home and stay cool. try to run early on saturday for 40 minutes or so. or join us at the hart park fun run at 7 am.

Jastro pool set to reopen Monday after repairs
